The distinction between Vedic and Western astrology
Though both Vedic and Western astrology contain 12 zodiac signs, their interpretations of constellation positions differ.
Vedic astrology is based on the sidereal zodiac, which is a system in which planet placements are estimated based on where they are viewed in the sky in relation to constellations.
