People often have problems & they visit the astrologer. On discussing their various problems, they ask for the remedies to get the desired results. This article will help such people to some extent in solving their problems. However, I request the readers to consult their astrologer before taking a final decision on the remedies.
There are 4 types of remedies. (1) Fasting. (2) Performance of Puja. (3) Use of gemstone. (4) Chanting a mantra of Dasha ruler.

(1) Fasting: This depends upon the ascendant lord. Ascendant means a rising sign at the time of birth. The ascendant lords are as under.

(a) Aries & Scorpio: Mars. It represents Tuesday.
(b) Taurus & Libra: Venus. It represents Friday.
(c) Gemini & Virgo: Mercury. It represents Wednesday.
(d) Cancer: Moon. It represents Monday.
(e) Leo: Sun. It represents Sunday.
(f) Sagittarius & Pisces: Jupiter. It represents Thursday.
(g) Capricorn & Aquarius: Saturn. It represents Saturday.

Thus, if one knows about his / her ascendant may do the fasting on that particular day.
Now, the question comes that how to observe the fasting. Following are some guidelines for the same. For all the fasts, one can observe it till the Sunset. Till the Sunset, one can take milk / tea / coffee / fruits or their juices. After the Sunset, one can take normal food excluding onion, garlic, tomatoes & non-vegetarian items. As far as possible avoid the sexual activities on the fasting day.

(a) Monday: Prior to finish the fast, one has to pray Lord Shiv. This can be observed for consecutive 16 Mondays. One can donate white cloth / rice /milk after completing consecutive 16 Mondays to a poor & needy person.
(b) Tuesday: It has to be observed consecutively for 21 Tuesdays. Finish the fast after praying Lord Ganesha. One can donate red cloth / any red color articles to a poor & needy person on completion of 21 Tuesdays.
(c) Wednesday: One can observe the fasting for consecutive 16 Wednesdays. Finish the fast after performing prayers to Lord Vishnu. On the completion of 16 Wednesdays, one can donate green cloth or any green color items to poor & needy person.
(d) Thursday: One can observe it for consecutive 16 Thursdays. One can finish the fast after praying Lord Dutta or Saibaba. On the completion of 16 Thursdays, one can donate yellow articles or sweets to poor & needy person.
(e) Friday: One can observe it for consecutive 16 Fridays. Avoid sour fruits & their juices. One can finish the fast after praying Goddess Mahalakshmi or a Kuldevi. On the completion of 16 Fridays, one can donate sweets or green clothe to poor & needy person.
(f) Saturday: One can observe it for consecutive 11 Saturdays. One can finish the fast after praying Lord Hanuman. On completion of 11 Saturdays, one can donate oil or black color items to a poor & needy person.
(g) Sunday: One can observe it consecutively for 11 Sundays. Though the fast finishes on the Sunset, one has to pray Lord Surya. On completion of 11 Sundays, one can donate any white color item to a poor & needy person.

If, someone wants to continue the fasting (as mentioned above for all the days) further, he or she can do the same. Only the condition is that the first time it should be in continuation. Thereafter continuity may or may not be observed as mentioned above.

(2) Performing the Puja: This depends upon on which day a person is born.

It is to be performed everyday. In case of ladies, they should not perform it during their periods.

(a) If you are born on Monday, perform the Puja of Lord Shiva with white color flowers.
(b) If you are born on Tuesday, perform the Puja of Lord Ganesha with red color flowers.
(c) If you are born on Wednesday, perform the Puja of Lord Vishnu with green color flowers.
(d) If you are born on Thursday, perform the Puja of Lord Datta with yellow color flowers.
(e) If you are born on Friday, perform the Puja of Goddess Mahalakshmi with white color flowers.
(f) If you are born on Saturday, perform the Puja of Lord Hanuman with any color flowers.
(g) If you are born on Sunday, perform the Puja of Lord Surya. Offer water to him.

(3) Use of Gemstone: This depends upon a lord of 9th house (a house of luck). Following is the guideline for a lord of 9th house for various ascendants & a gemstone suitable for the same.

Note:-Prior to go for a gemstone, people are advised to take guidance from their astrologer.

(4) Chanting a mantra of Dasha lord: There are 9 lords of Dashas. They are as under. (People are advised to get the knowledge of their Dasha from their astrologer. Chanting a mantra of dasha lord gives the positive results to a person).

(a) Ketu. (b) Venus. (c) Sun. (d) Moon. (e) Mars. (f) Rahu. (g) Jupiter. (h) Saturn. (i) Mercury.
Mantras are to be chanted daily for 108 times facing East or North direction.
