Sundeep Malani (born on 19 November 1971) is an Indian film director. Sundeep Malani was born in 1971 to a roman catholic family in bombay and was raised in mangalore. Malani himself did his early schooling at the Milagres School in Mangalore. Malani co-directed the Kannada film, Miss California, which was the debut film of actor Diganth.

Malani’s directorial debut was SMS 6260, a Kannada-english film. It was produced by Indian American entrepreneur, Prahlad Arasu and his sister Janu Arasu, who played the lead heroine.

He has directed a variety of short films, some of them covering controversial issues such as AIDS (“Jo Jo Laali – a heart wrenching lullaby”) and homosexuality (“Shaayad”).His other short film was made in three languages: “Hum Tum Aur Loan” (Hindi), “Yella Ok, Loan Yaake” (Kannada) and “A Loanly Life” (English).

Now his first commercial hindi film is going to be released on 19th October.

Sundeep Malani is director of the film JANLEVA 555. Produced by Kalpna Pandit, the romantic musical mystery thriller explores two different eras with a gap of 555 years.
Releasing Oct 19, the movie is said to be full of nail-biting moments as it has also used real cobras to make it more edgy. It has an ensemble cast with veteran actor Anant Nag, Kalpna Pandit and a streak of newcomers like Akash Hora, Anant Joshi, Abrar Zahoor, Mann Hora, Ranjeet Jha and Vaseem, among others.
With music by international group Stone Soup Soldiers and Padula Tigers, the movie has 13 songs.
